The Challenge
Turning one of Google's most complex AI security initiatives into practical guidance for organisations worldwide.
Google's Secure AI Framework (SAIF) provides comprehensive guidance for building, deploying and managing AI securely. However, the original material was extensive, highly technical and designed primarily as a reference document rather than an interactive learning resource.
The challenge was not to redefine the framework, but to present it in a way that made complex security concepts easier to navigate, understand and apply. It needed to serve engineers, security professionals, policymakers and business leaders alike, while remaining faithful to Google's original thinking.
Our Approach
Designing intuitive journeys through complex AI security guidance.
Working closely with Google's AI, security and compliance teams, Psycle designed the information architecture, user journeys and visual language needed to transform a complex body of knowledge into a coherent digital experience. Through collaborative workshops, UX research and iterative design, we focused on making every interaction purposeful and intuitive.
Alongside the website, we designed interactive visualisations, including the SAIF taxonomy and risk map, enabling visitors to explore the framework from different perspectives and quickly identify the guidance most relevant to their role. Rather than simplifying the framework itself, we simplified the journey through it.
